What are Linear Tables/Graphs anyway?

Well, by following State Standard PO4, a Linear Table is a table which shows a pattern (that follows an equation) between the 'x' and 'y' axis. These are shown in good business progress graphs. If you were to plot this pattern on a graph, the line connecting the dots would be straight. A Linear Graph is where the coordinate points follow a specific equation/pattern to create a straight line. The graph below follows a specific equation. The linear equation is y=mx+b. So if the pattern goes up by two on both the y and x-axis, that means the equation would be y=2x.
